Have a recipe you know is a winner? Curious to sample other whole food, plant-based dishes? Want to get to know other vegan foodies? Well, this is the event for you!
Join us for our bi-monthly potluck. Bring your favorite dish along with a copy of the recipe to share with the crowd. We ask that your dish adhere to the following dietary requirements:
• Must be Whole Food, Plant-Based (WFPB)
• Little to No Processed Food
• No animal product ingredients
• Ingredients and meals without oil and low in sugar and salt
The person with the winning dish will receive an STLPCL prize.
Please bring serving utensils for your dish.
To be green, please bring a fork, reusable water bottle and another dining essentials.
No alcoholic beverages allowed.
Following the meal, Sharon will share her inspirational story of how a whole food, plant-based diet radically transformed her life. Sharon turned 62 in May 2017 and weighed 349 lbs. Recently diagnosed with another blood clot in her leg, the writing was on the wall; more diagnostic tests and medications were on the horizon. Her retirement wasn't turning out as she had expected. Something had to change. Then, 5 days into the decision to change her eating habits, she watched Fork Over Knives...
